Telemonitoring will improve the overall quality of your life, provide you with more control of your health, and to the best extent possible, reduce or prevent re-hospitalizations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  What is Telemonitoring?
Home Telemonitoring provides your home care nurse the ability to monitor your vital signs and symptoms more frequently than is possible with regular home visits. It provides you and your physician important information that will help you better control your disease.

Q.   Why should I use Telemonitoring?
Telemonitoring allows us to check your blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, weight and health status seven days a week—providing us with pertinent information that will help you live a healthier life.

Q.   What equipment do I use to take my vital signs?
The VitTelCare™ Turtle 400 is a compact lightweight monitoring device that works using a standard telephone line. Its ease-of-use is designed for the at-home patient, caregiver and health care professional.

Q.   Is it hard to use?
No. It is very easy to use. Your clinician will show you how it works. After you wake up and before your breakfast, you take your vital signs, answer a few questions, push "send" and we receive the results in our central monitoring station.

Q.   How much time does it take?
It will take about 10 minutes in the morning.
