Prenatal Program
Prenatal visits focus on the assessment, management, support, and
education of the woman and family experiencing a high-risk pregnancy.
Nurses manage a variety of high-risk issues, such as:
• preterm labor
• gestational diabetes
• maternal medical problems
• hyperemesis gravidarum
• hypertension in pregnancy
• IV therapy
• multiple gestation
• teen pregnancy
