Volunteer Services

"We can do no great things - only small things with great love."
Mother Teresa

You can make a difference in the lives of people who are facing advanced illnesses, their families and the community by becoming a volunteer with Partners Hospice.

Patient Care Volunteers offer practical, social and spiritual support to our patients (who may be living at home or in a nursing facility), as well as to their family members and other caregivers. As members of the interdisciplinary team, Patient Care Volunteers provide friendly visits, companionship, emotional support, respite for caregivers, and occasional assistance with light household tasks or errands such as grocery shopping.

Volunteer opportunities are available throughout Greater Boston and surrounding communities. Click here for a map of the Partners Hospice service area, highlighted in blue.

Administrative/Office Support Volunteers also offer invaluable support to the day-to-day functioning of our agency. If you have office or computer skills and are interested in volunteering as little as two hours a week, you can make a difference.
