Hospice Seeks Volunteers for March Training

Are you a looking for a fulfilling volunteer opportunity that will make a difference in the lives of others? Partners Hospice has openings for its 2009 Hospice Volunteer Training beginning March 6, 2009.

Patient Care volunteers provide companionship and support to individuals and families coping with life-limiting illnesses who live in Greater Boston and MetroWest communities. Through commitment, compassion, good listening and communication skills, our volunteers offer valuable support to our families and experience a great sense of reward. Patient Care volunteers are provided an eight week training and can choose among assignments within the vicinity of their own communities. Daytime, evening, weekend and weekday opportunities are available.

Office Support volunteers are needed for Partners Hospice's Waltham office to help with administrative needs such as filing, mailings, and data entry. If you are someone who would enjoy volunteering a few hours a week in a friendly office environment, we need you! Come join us in the Partners Hospice office and contribute your time and skills in support of the patients and families we serve and the staff who care for them.
