Partners Home Care Joins the 7th Annual Boston Heart Party

Partners Home Care is joining Pfizer and other sponsors in the 7th Annual Boston Heart Party™, a screening program designed to raise awareness about the risk factors of cardiovascular disease (CVD), the leading killer of American women and men. Each screening includes a check of blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose, plus a one-on-one assessment with a medical professional about CVD risk factors such as smoking, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, gender, age and a family history of heart disease.

The free CVD risk factor screenings will be held at more than 100 hospitals, clinics, health centers, physician offices and employer sites across Eastern Massachusetts from March 20 through Mother's Day, May 8. They are open to all women, their families, friends, and loved ones aged 35 years and older. The Boston Heart Party™ has also joined forces with 53 Boston-area restaurants to help fight CVD in 2005. Participating restaurants are helping spread awareness of CVD risk factors by labeling heart-smart dishes on their menus with The Boston Heart Party™ logo during the campaign.
