Save the Date: Partners Health and Fitness Expo -- June 27 and 28 -- Free
Presented by Partners HealthCare and 7 NBC/CW56, this two-day event held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston will offer free medical tests and screenings, exciting interactive activities for the entire family, healthy cooking demonstrations and a number of celebrity guests.
Partners Home Care will join other affiliates of Partners Continuing Care - Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Shaughessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital, and Rehab Hospital of Cape and Island - to showcase its combined array of non-acute services that enhance quality of life. With its theme, "Partners Continuing Care: Improving Lives", the PCC area will feature exhibits on: Caring for an Aging Parent; Health Technology in the Home; "WiiHab" virtual therapies using video systems; Signs of Stroke screenings; an Integrative Medicine Clinic; Ergonomics demos; an Outpatient Showcase; and much more.
Partners Home Care will be offering free consultation on managing healthcare in senior years and those caring for aging parents. We will also showcase healthcare technology, such as Telemonitoring, Lifeline, and a Medication Dispenser - that help improve lives at home.
