Sixth Annual Halloween Hustle Off to a Fast Start
Ed Harding of WCVB-TV Channel 5 has been named the Honorary Chairperson of Partner's Home Care's 6th Annual Halloween Hustle 5K Road Race & Walk. Harding recently hosted a group of former PHC pediatric patients at the Channel 5 studio. 
Partners Home Care got a big boost when the New England School of Whole Health Education became the official clock sponsor of the Halloween Hustle. Mary-Anne Benedict, MSN, RN, Education Consultant, and Katherin Benedict, Business Development Consultant for the school present a check to Sherry Nadworny (right), Community Relations Specialist at PHC. Join 1000 walkers and runners on Saturday, October 25, 2003, when Partners Home Care hosts its 6th Annual Halloween Hustle Road Race, Walk & Kids Fun Run to benefit pediatric services. The walk and kids fun run will start at 8:30 AM. The race starts at 9:30 AM at PHC's Newton office at 1589 Beacon Street. The course runs through the scenic Waban neighborhood along the Charles River. Post-race activities conclude at Lincoln Park with awards, free massage, ample refreshments, music provided by MIX 98.5, face painting, a moonwalk, more than fifty raffle prizes including round trip airline tickets, weekend hotel stays and restaurant and merchant gift certificates. The Krispy Kruiser will be on hand to provide free Krispy Kreme donuts and games and prizes for the kids. There's also a prize for the best costume and T-shirts for the first 500 registered participants. This year, the pediatric program of Partners Home Care is expected to serve through 29,000 in-home visits close to 4,000 infants, children and adolescents under the age of 18 who suffer from chronic illnesses such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease. In addition, the Maternal-Infant program provides family-centered, in-home care to expectant families and those with newborns.
