Annual Tee-Off Sets New Record for Partners Home Care

Two hundred and forty golfers participated in Partners Home Care's 13th Annual Tee-Off held recently at the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA. Presented by Bank of America and major sponsors, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Bear Stearns and Goldman, Sachs & Company, the event raised $337,000 for the charitable efforts of Partners Home Care. The funds raised at the Tee-Off will make a direct and powerful impact for the home care agency, such as providing support for 2,000 nursing or rehabilitation visits to patients, including many who do not have insurance. Proceeds will also enable the agency to further invest in new technology such as telemonitoring devices that provide remote monitoring of patients with chronic illnesses. This technology has been shown to improve patient care while increasing the number of patients that can be cared for in their homes at the same time. "Thanks to our sponsors and participants, this was a record-breaking year for the Tee-Off. Proceeds from the event offer substantial support for our mission to provide high quality home health care to children and adults," said Marcia Reissig, PHC President and Chief Executive Officer.
