Despite unseasonably low temperatures, nearly two hundred golfers participated in Partners Home Care's 12th Annual Tee-Off held recently at the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA. Presented by Bank of America and co-sponsored by JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Goldman, Sachs & Company, the event raised more than $290,000 to support the charitable services of Partners Home Care. Co-chairs Anna Colton, Sales Performance Executive at Bank of America, John Grady, Jr., Managing Director of Lehman Brothers and Mike Manning, Deputy Treasurer at Partners HealthCare System, were joined by special guests, Bob Halloran, sports anchor for WCVB TV-5 and Mike Hydeck, weekend morning news anchor for CBS-4, in welcoming golfers and participating in the event. Charitable support from the Tee-Off will provide free and under-reimbursed care for PHC's patients who lack adequate insurance coverage or the means to pay. Proceeds will also advance the agency's commitment to excellence and innovation by offsetting the cost of medical equipment that is needed to provide state-of-the-art home health care services. "This golf tournament will make a significant difference in our patients' lives and provide supportive services in the community setting. We are grateful to our committee members, sponsors and players for their support of our mission to provide high quality home health care to children and adults," said Marcia Reissig, PHC President and Chief Executive Officer.
