The Bereavement Program at Partners Hospice is designed to help you cope with the feelings that may follow a loss and to provide you with support that can help you through this period.

Our Bereavement program is open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds who have experienced the loss of a child, spouse, parent, or other family member or friend.

All bereavement services are free of charge. Services are provided for up to 13 months following the loss of an adult and up to three years following the loss a child

Mailings
We provide educational and supportive information about coping with loss, along with invitations to our bereavement services, listed below. You will receive these materials in the mail over the coming months.

Individual Counseling
We offer bereavement counseling sessions with professional staff or a specially trained volunteer. These private sessions can be held in your home, at our office or over the phone. Please call 781-290-4000 for an appointment.

Support Groups
Our educational seminars and support groups provide a safe place to talk about your experience and help you learn to cope with your feelings. All groups are facilitated by licensed professionals. We will mail you information about these groups a few months following your loss.

Special Programs
We hold workshops throughout the year on special topics, such as "Navigating Your New Life," and "Coping with the Holidays."

Memorial Services
Once a year, we hold a Memorial Service for our families. This non-religious ceremony is a time to remember your loved one and offers you the chance to grieve your loss with others. You will receive an invitation to this event in the mail.
