Bringing Care Home

Chris Attaya Appointed President of Partners Home Care

BOSTON - Partners Continuing Care President David Storto announced this week the appointment of Chris Attaya as president of Partners Home Care.

In this role, Attaya will be responsible for the $74 million organization that provides Medicare certified home health, hospice and private duty home care services throughout eastern Massachusetts. He will oversee 1,200 employees who serve more than 4,000 patients each day, and make a combined total of 400,000 home visits each year.

According to Storto, "Chris' experience and leadership will foster the organization's commitment to quality and excellence in serving patients and families at home and in the community."

Attaya has more than 25 years of experience in health care with a major focus on home health care. He began his tenure with Partners Home Care (PHC) in 2001 as its chief financial officer where he has overseen finances, information systems and facilities.

As a member of PHC's executive team, Attaya has been instrumental in championing the organization's mission and vision to become the leading innovator of a broad, inclusive range of home health care services.

"Through Chris' execution of strategic plans and business development, PHC has furthered its vision to adopt cutting edge technology for the home environment and has expanded its private duty and hospice services," said Storto. "He is deeply respected by everyone he works with, as a balanced thinker and a person with great knowledge and integrity. I am confident that PHC will continue to flourish under his leadership."

Attaya serves on the Advisory Board of the National Association of Home Care & Hospice Financial Managers Association and the Finance Committee of the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts. He received his masters in business administration from Boston University and his undergraduate degree in public health from Tufts University.

Before joining Partners Home Care, Attaya was a senior manager for Simione Central Consulting where he served as an advisor to a number of home care agencies in New England.
